In this workshop the author will discuss an innovative method of analyzing emotional dynamics based on the DISTRIBUTION OF LOVE in families, as described in her book “They Love You, They Love Me Not: the truth about the family favourite and sibling rivalry” (HarperCollins, 1995).
Learning how this theoretical model works to decipher the DISTRIBUTION OF LOVE in a family will:
(a) enhance your ability to understand and analyse the psychological/emotional dynamics that occur in families
(b) enable you to find solutions to unravelling anxieties, depressions, and anger producing parent-child and child-child interactions, and
(c) improve overall treatment outcomes for children, adolescents and adults.
Case studies will be discussed, and participants are invited to bring in their own difficult cases.
